I learned the importance of reciprocity...giving and receiving. Whether it was "you push me on the swing and then I'll push you" or taking turns coming down the slide or me using my strength to lift you up on the see-saw and then you doing the same for me. No matter what the game was, we had to take turns and work together. And even though one person was "working" while the other was enjoying the abandon of "play", we both were laughing and having fun.

Oops stumbled on another lesson...learn to embrace the joy that comes from watching others play!

WOW!!!! This was very timely for me. I'm in the process of expanding my business and I'm currently in the recruiting phase. His premise that "People don't buy what you do or what you're selling, but why you do it" is a breakthrough for me.

This is something I can and will implement immediately.

Thanks Ingrid! Glad you like the site (it's a work in progress!) I added the book you mentioned (the art of intimacy) to our "reading room" tab under the heading of "Emotional"

Hello,
Kevin I enjoyed meeting you in January and at that meeting you mentioned a book called the art of intimacy. I would like to read it but I need the exact name of the book and the author. Thank you . I love the website.
